To make Jeere Meerem powder – Lightly roast 1 tbsp. Peppercorns, 1 tbsp. Cumin seeds, ¼ tsp. cloves, 2 sticks cinnamon. Powder and add ½ tsp. turmeric powder. I usually buy my ‘Jeere Meerem’ powder from Goa Mapusa market. Regards, Cecilia

Thank you for posting all these beautiful mangalorean recipes and especially the ones for post partum . I am at Canada and am currently looking after myself and my baby parents couldn’t be here with me due to Corona .
Your site has been a saving grace and my mom amd I are heavily dependent on these rich recipes . Thank you once again from both my parents and me.
