Rava Adai
Ingredients
- 250 gms. Rava
- 50 gms. Rice flour
- 1 tbsp. grated coconut
- 2 bay leaves, broken into pieces
- Salt and chilli powder to taste
- Sour butter milk (or yogurt mixed with water)
- Ghee as required
- Mix rava with all the above ingredients upto chilli powder.
- Add enough buttermilk to form a thick batter.
- Heat a flat griddle and grease it will ghee
- Pour one to two tbsp. of batter and spread it into a thick round.
- When the underside turns golden, pour a little ghee around the edges.
- When both the sides turn golden and crisp remove from fire and serve immediately.
Delicious with hot cup of coffee or tea at breakfast or tea-time!
