English Breakfast

English Breakfast is typically a grill/fry-up of various breakfast meats (pork or otherwise as available) and eggs and served with baked beans, mushroom, tomatoes and toast.   (Couldn’t get black pudding).

  • 4 Eggs
  • Four Frankfurters/Sausages
  • 8 to 10 mushrooms (I used canned)
  • 2 medium tomatoes
  • 4 slices Bacon
  • 1 small can Baked Beans in tomato sauce
  • 2 to 4 slices bread
  1. Brush the grill pan with oil and heat.
  2. Cut the tomatoes in half and place on a grill pan alongwith mushroom, sausages and bacon and grill evenly.
  3. Put a tsp of butter in the frying pan and fry two eggs per serving.
  4. Toast bread (or butter lightly and fry in the same pan after frying eggs) and cut into triangles.
  5. Heat the baked beans. (Black pudding and fried potatoes may be added if desired).
  6. To Serve: Place two eggs, two sausages, about 4 to 5 mushrooms, two tomato halves, two slices bacon, half the baked beans and two toast triangles on a serving plate.  Season the eggs and veggies with salt and pepper if desired.  Serve hot alongwith fresh orange juice.
