A great recipe using left-over rice. Makes a quick and delicious tea-time snack.
Ingredients
2 cups cooked rice
1/2 cup gram flour
2 green chillies, chopped
2 medium onions, chopped
1 tbsp. green coriander, chopped
1 tbsp. ginger, chopped
1 tsp. chaat masala
Salt
Oil for deep frying
Mix all the above ingredients except oil. Add water only if required. Heat oil in a kadai to a moderate heat. Form the mixture into lemon-sized balls and deep fry on medium heat to a light golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper towels to remove the excess oil. Serve hot with chutney or tomato ketchup or chillie sauce.
