Aids digestion, relieves intestinal colic and protects from cold.


  • 1 cup boiled rice
  • ½ cup ajwain
  • 1 cup coconut juice
  • Pinch of salt (optional)
  • ¾ cup jaggery


  1. Wash and soak ajwain for 4 to 6 hours and grind to a paste.
  2. Cook rice in 4 cups water till soft.
  3. Add ajwain paste and simmer for 5 to 7 minutes.
  4. Add the jaggery and stir till dissolved.
  5. Then add the coconut milk and simmer for 5 minutes.
