Bhindani Kadhi
Ingredients
- 250 gms. Lady’s fingers
- 1” Ginger
- 4 medium green chillies or to taste
- 2 tbsp. coriander leaves
- 2 tbsp. ghee
- 2 cups buttermilk, undiluted
1 tsp. Turmeric powder - 1 tbsp. gram flour
- ½ tsp salt or to taste
- Wash, lady’s fingers and slit each in half.
- Chop ginger, green chillies and coriander leaves.
- Heat ghee in a vessel and fry the lady’s fingers on very gently heat till tender.
- Add all the remaining ingredients, mix well, and bring to a boil.
- Simmer for about five minutes.
- Serve hot with plain rice or khichdi.
