Chilli Beef

  • ½ kg. beef cut into ribbon slices
  • 2 tbsp. oil


  • 2 tbsp. oil
  • 1 tbsp. soya sauce
  • 2 tbsp. tomato ketchup
  • 2 tsp. chilli sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  • 2 cups water
  • 2 soup cubes
  • 1 tsp chilli sauce
  • 1 tsp. cornflour
  1. Marinate meat for 15 minutes.
  2. Put 2 tbsp. oil in a pan and fry the meat till the liquid evaporates and meat is done.
  3. Prepare gravy.  Mix all the gravy ingredients in a saucepan and cook over medium low flame till it turns translucent and thickens.
  4. Add meat, bring to a boil and take off the fire. Serve hot with fried rice or noodles.
