Easter Bunny Biscuits
Delicious Crunchy Cookies
Ingredients
- 3 Cups flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 Cup (2 sticks) Butter, softened
- 1 Cup sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 1 tbsp. Milk
Method
- Sieve the flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside.
- Cream the butter, sugar, vanilla and milk.
- Add the dry ingredients until fully combined.
- Take a large sheet of plastic wrap, lay on the counter, place the dough cover with the plastic and refrigerate for one hour.
- Preheat oven to 180 deg C.
- Lightly flour a clean board or work surface and work with small portions of the dough. Place the remaining back in the fridge.
- Roll out the dough to 1/8” thickness and cut into desired shapes.
- Bake 8 to 10 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
- To make bunny Cookies, use a bunny cookie cutter and poke eyes and nose with a toothpick and leave as is or place tiny candy beads for the eyes and nose.
- Bake 8 to 10 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
